Vina Vegan is a vegan Vietnamese eatery in Newtown. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by the friendly and warm staff, and its welcoming environment.
The menu is full of classic Vietnamese dishes. I enjoyed the vermicelli salad with spring rolls and vegan chicken. It comes loaded with toppings and tastes fresh. The salted vegan fish fried rice is another dish I'd recommend with its strong flavours.
However, not everything was a hit for me. The crispy yellow noodles were too oily for me. And the vegan chicken that comes with the dish was more tough than crispy. Also, the Vina pancake "Banh xeo" had a unexpectedly sour taste, which I wasn't a big fan of. Still, with the friendly service and some tasty dishes, I'd say Vina Vegan is worth a visit.
