Vegeme is an Asian fusion restaurant in West End, Brisbane. The owners are Taiwanese and the menu features some Taiwanese classic dishes, with some dishes from other Asian countries including Japanese inari and Korean bibimbap.

Most of the dishes are vegan and are clearly marked. Food is good value with generous portions. There are a few dishes that I love here, including the bean sauce on noodles (be sure to add an extra scoop), beancurd wallet with veggies (served in a sizzling plate), and the sweet & sour pom pom mushroom rice.

For small dish, go for the suji (Taiwanese fried chicken) or the salt and pepper konjac ring. And I love the sweet red bean soup as dessert.

But some dishes could be a miss sometimes, like the satay fried rice which can be a bit oily.

The service is always warm and welcoming. With its central location in West End, I'd highly recommend Vegeme if you are craving some Asian comfort food.

There could be some misses some times, for example, the satay fried rice could be a bit oily.
